Terms and conditions for our courses

Below you will find our terms and conditions for our courses, along with a refund policy.

  1. Applications

1.1 Applications for admission can be accepted for consideration if submitted on our online application form (found on each event page), or by emailing us.

  1. Confirmation of Attendance and Payment of Fees

2.1 The balance is payable immediately when booking a program and may be paid by bank transfer.

2.2 You may not attend a program without payment of fees.

2.3 Program fees are as per our website and are subject to change.

2.4 Please note all event and workshop fees are inclusive of VAT.

  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Programs

3.1 Our programs are designed so that participants can learn from one another as well as benefit from the facilitator’s input, and therefore each program will have a minimum cohort number to achieve this. When it is anticipated that we will not achieve these minimum numbers, programs will be rescheduled or, if necessary, cancelled. In such cases, we will advise you as soon as practicable and offer alternative program dates where possible.

3.2 Where a course is cancelled and not rescheduled by Truvian Partners, a full refund will be given to you.

3.3 If you voluntarily withdraw from the program before completion and you are permitted to restart the program at a later date, you will be asked to submit a new application form and pay any fee increases as appropriate.

3.3 Please refer to our Refund Policy (below) for cancellation initiated by yourself.

  1. Non-attendance of workshops

4.1 If you are unable to attend a session during the course, please note that no refund will be offered to you. For unavoidable reasons of cancellation, such as illness, we will try to put you on the same workshop with the next cohort, subject to availability, or there may be an option to catch up one to one with your tutor. Should you find yourself in these circumstances, please contact a member of the Truvian Partners team as soon as possible so arrangements can be made. There will be an additional administration fee payable of AED 365 to cover our costs and, if you choose to have a one to one catch up, there will be a fee payable of AED 1000 per day for this.

  1. Additional fees

5.1 In the event of a portfolio being referred, there will be an additional re-marking fee of AED 1000.

  1. Our liability

6.1  Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking the Contract is strictly limited to the purchase price of the program.

6.2. This does not include or limit in any way our liability:

  1. a) for death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  2. b) under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
  3. c) for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  4. d) for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.
  5. Transfer of rights and obligations

7.1 The Contract between you and us is binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns.

7.2 You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of a Contract, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent.

7.3 We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a Contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the Contract.

  1. Events outside our control

8.1  We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).

8.2 A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action; civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster; impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

  1. Intellectual Property Rights

9.1 All intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, copyright, moral rights, design rights, trademarks and patents) and all other rights in the programs content and program materials belong to us. We licence to you all such rights on a non-exclusive basis for the purpose only of enabling you to attend, participate and, where you are able, to complete the program. You are also permitted to use small extracts of the program content and program materials for your personal use as a coach only. Reproduction or distribution of the program content and program materials is strictly prohibited.

9.2 Use of our logo is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.

9.3 Audio and visual recordings of our programs is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.

9.4 Occasionally we may film or record program trainers delivering the program during your attendance. You authorize us to use your image and voice in any such recordings without payment, other condition or need for further consent.

9.5 You acknowledge that certain information contained in the program and program materials is already in the public domain.

9.6 You are not permitted to sell or promote products or services at Truvian Partners’ events without prior written permission.

  1. Confidentiality

10.1 Save as required by law or in respect of information which is already in the public domain through no breach by you of the provisions of this clause 10, you shall keep in strict confidence all technical and commercial know-how, specifications, inventions, processes or initiatives which are of a confidential nature and have been disclosed to you by us (or our employees, agents, consultants or sub-contractors) and any other confidential information concerning our business or the program or program materials which you may obtain.

10.2 You shall not use any such information for any purpose other than to attend, participate and, where capable, complete the program.

  1. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate the Contract immediately without liability if:

11.1 You fail to complete the program within 18 months of the completion of the scheduled workshops or, where we have given our prior written consent, within 24 months of the completion of the scheduled workshops;

  1. Our right to vary these terms and conditions

12.1 We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.

12.2 You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that you order programs from us, unless we notify you of the change to these terms and conditions before we send you the Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the Confirmation).

  1. Law and jurisdiction

13.1 Contracts for the purchase of programs through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by UAE law.


Refund Policy


Below you will find our refund policy for our courses / programs. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  1. You have a right to cancel your registration onto one of our programs, and receive a full refund, within seven days of making your payment.
  2. We reserve the right to withhold some or all of the monies paid to us to cover reasonable expenses in the event of your cancellation. This does not affect your statutory rights.

2.1. After the initial seven days, you may cancel your registration up to 42 days before the first day of the program, and obtain a full refund of fees paid, less an administration fee of AED 100.

2.2. From 1 – 41 days before the first day of the program, fees will be charged according to expenses incurred. Your refund will be reduced to take account of charges for the cost of the first workshop and administration fees.

2.3. If you wish to withdraw from the program on, or after, the first day of the program, no refund is applicable.
